Common errors highlighted so you can avoid them.
About this course
The Loft command allows you to create complex 3D shapes by blending between two or more profiles. It is used when a part changes shape from one end to another — for example, transitioning from a circle to a rectangle, or forming smooth, organic curves. Loft is ideal for Higher‑level modelling tasks where simple extrudes or revolves cannot produce the required geometry.
In this course, you will learn:
- How to sketch multiple profiles for a lofted shape.
- How to control the shape of the loft mapping vertices.
- How to offset work planes.
- How to blend smoothly between different shapes.
- How to avoid common mistakes when profiles don’t align.
- How to use Loft to model complex Higher‑level components.
